Description: Pin Chery as clusters of white blossoms appear before foliage in spring, followed by small, red edible cherries in summer. Shiny red-brown bark accents shiny foliage which turns orange in fall.

Ornamental Features: Clusters of small, milky-white flowers in spring. Bright red edible fruit in fall. Bark is shiny bronze-red.

Landscape Attributes: Pin Cherry is a small deciduous tree with upright oval growth habit. Its average texture blends into the landscape. Is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed.

(Trees, Shrubs and Perennials labelled Zone 2 or 3 are consistently hardy enough to survive in Calgary, Okotoks and surrounding areas)
