Description: Fast growing hybrid cultivar selected for improved resistance to frost cracking. Grows best in moist well drained soils that receive full sunlight. Although the Amur cherry can tolerate extreme cold.
Ornamental Features: Produce tiny (5mm) cherries. Darkest bark we have ever seen. Dark green foliage and burgundy exfoliating bark for winter colour. The branching is also nicely upright. Beautiful tree.
Landscape Attributes: Deciduous tree with a more or less rounded form. Identical to the Goldrush Amur Cherry except for having dark Burgandy Bark .
