Tatarian Maple makes a good specimen tree for for small yards. Closely related to Amur Maple, it is slightly larger in stature.

Description:  A small upright spreading tree with a dense rounded crown. A gorgeous accent tree with red seeds in late summer and fall colors that range from yellow through orange.

Ornamental Features: Greenish-white flowers in the spring are followed by winged seeds that become a showy red as they mature. The foliage remains dark green throughout the season turning yellow/orange-red in the fall.

Landscape Attributes: Deciduous tree with an upright spreading habit of growth. Low maintenance, very hardy, and drought resistant.
