Description: An upright, columnar shrub with purple-black foliage, shell pink flowers, and black ornamental berries. Makes a dramatic screen/hedge and a great specimen plant for smaller landscapes.

Ornamental Features: Purple-black foliage throughout the season emerges light green in the spring. Rose buds open up to large clusters of fragrant two-toned shell pink flowers held atop branches in early summer and mature to black berries in early fall.

Landscape Attributes: Multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a narrowly upright and columnar habit of growth.  Low maintenance; prune after flowering. Deer and rabbit resistant. Great choice for attracting birds and butterflies to your yard.
