Ornamental Features: Pink buds open to lemon scented pink flowers in the spring maturing to black berries in late summer. Dark purple finely-cut, lacy foliage all season. Young stems are purple, with older branches being a rough, gray-brown.
Landscape Attributes: Very cold hardy, multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with an upright habit of growth. Prune after flowering. Deer and rabbit resistant, and drought tolerant once established. A great choice for attracting birds to your yard.
