Description: A very hardy and fast growing upright shrub with golden yellow foliage, orange-red stems, white flowers and berries. Excellent for massed, border edging or as a specimen with outstanding four season color and winter interest.
Ornamental Features: Foliage is golden yellow throughout the season turning red and orange in the fall. Clusters of white flowers in late spring mature to small white berries in late summer. Stems turn flaming orange/red in the winter providing outstanding color interest and are excellent for cutting.
Landscape Attributes: Multi-stemmed deciduous shrub. Low maintenance; although pruning is not required, removing 20-25% of the oldest stems in early spring of each year, stimulates growth of new stems which display the best color. Deer tolerant and rabbit resistant.
