Description: A very beautiful red-pink spring flowering crabapple with a rounded, spreading habit of growth. Red buds produce pale pink blooms, fading to white as flowers mature. Makes a nice addition to the landscape as an accent or shade tree.
Ornamental Features: Clusters of pink flowers along the branches in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive rose flower buds before the leaves. Deep purple foliage throughout the season turn dark red in the fall. Fruits are purple-red and 1/2″ in diameter.
Landscape Attributes: A deciduous tree with a rounded, spreading habit of growth. A good choice for attracting birds to your yard. Fireblight resistant.
