Description:  In the spring, this fruitless variety of crabapple trees lives up to its name as its branches are blanketed in clusters of fragrant snowy white flowers.  Discovered in 1960s Saskatchewan, this medium growth tree with its dense oval habit has a high tolerance to pollution.

Ornamental Features: Fragrant white flowers along the branches, which emerge from shell-pink flower buds before the leaves. Dark green foliage throughout the season. Leaves turn yellow in fall.

Landscape Attributes: Deciduous tree with a tightly oval habit of growth; makes a beautiful accent in the front yard, very clean and tidy. Best pruned in late winter once the extreme cold has passed.
