Description:  A hardy birch, noted for its good form and striking white bark. Reddish young bark, maturing to a peeling snow-white colour. Dark green foliage throughout the season.

Ornamental Features: Reddish young bark matures to white, papery, peeling layers.  Oval, toothed green foliage turns bright yellow-gold in the fall.The peeling white bark is extremely showy and adds significant winter interest.

Landscape Attributes: Deciduous tree with a shapely oval form. Low maintenance tree, should be pruned in the summer after leaves have fully developed.  Drought tolerant once established.
